Chapters 46 through 67 Summary
In chapter forty-six, Grace feels a little amazed that her parents don't realize she'd made love to Sam the night before. Grace suggests that she and Sam go to see Beck. He says he hates confrontation and she says there won't have to be a confrontation. Sam says there will be "if I have any principles left". Sam then asks Grace if she made love to him in order to get back at her parents for their lack of caring attitudes. She is furious and almost stomps away but remembers that he might turn to a wolf during the day while she's at school. She says their relationship isn't normal and she can't give in to nursing her indignation because of it. She goes to class, though she says it feels like a mistake to leave Sam.
