Chapter Eighteen: Thursday, July 20, 1645 hours Summary
When it finally rains, they are so unprepared that they spill most of the water that they collect back into the sea. Drinking the sea water gives Will dry heaves and the shakes. When he tries to stand, he tumbles off the raft and into the ocean. They manage to collect only a couple of mouthfuls of water each and Will is so nauseous that he can't even keep that down. Minutes, hours, and days pass with boredom setting in. When only a short time ago, all he could think of was rescue, now Luke hardly thinks about it at all. Will hardly speaks at all now and when he does, it is often more gibberish than anything else. When they tell him it is his turn to be shark bait, he talks about Lyssa...
