CAD-FAC plans
Architectural plans for the emergency shelter for the Containment and Disposal Facility (CAD-FAC) are originally developed by Keene as a college project in architecture. The plans are kept by Anna, given to Senator Thurman, and become the basic blueprint for the Silo operation. The plans are refined over time by Keene, Anna, Webb, and others. They are implemented over the course of several years and are kept as schematic maps by the shifts over the next few hundred years.
Propranolol
Propranolol is a simple pill given to sufferers of extreme trauma which wipes out the memory of any such traumatic event. The pills have numerous side effects, including depression, but also many of which are unknown –especially when taken with other medications. Keene’s sister takes the medication, which in turn is later taken by Keene. The medicine causes him great depression during the shifts...
