Summary
Chapter 85 – There is an eerie silence as Jimmy continues on his journey outside of the safe room. He writes words on a chalkboard in his old classroom which say that ghosts are watching. He writes that he is Jimmy, just because he wants to leave his mark and be remembered. Jimmy realizes how utterly alone he is. He renames himself “Solo.”
Chapter 86 – Keene is not happy about taking Anna’s life. A folder is delivered to Keene by Dr. Wilson in which a single, old sheet of paper is found. It is titled, “RE: THE PACT.” It contains information agreed to by all parties involved that come to the end of the project. Only one silo will be released back into the world. Silo 1 is not meant to be released. The women and children in Silo 1 are being kept asleep...
