Summary

Chapter 64 – Keene goes to the central offices, to Psychological Services. Eren explains it has been thirty-some years since 17 was lost. The day it was lost, a shadow tech was on the line with Silo 1. Eren explains that if the cleaner makes it to the location of 17, all she will find is a hole in the ground. Keene directs Eren to contact the silos surrounding 17 to let them know to be on the lookout for the cleaner in case she changes direction. Keene feels as if he has been elected to Congress for the first time all over again, with the weight of responsibility coming down upon him.

Chapter 65 – Keene knows someone has tampered with the shifts and the names. He wonders about telling the truth. Keene longs into Thurman’s computer account and reads through old messages...
