Zhu
The main character Zhu Chongba, or the Zhu family’s second daughter who takes her brother’s name, is the protagonist. In order to distinguish the two, she uses the family name Zhu while her brother was primarily known as Chongba. During her years of novice training under her brother’s identity, Zhu struggles with the fear that she could lose her brother’s fate should heaven see her previous self instead of Chongba. Over time, however, she comes to accept herself and reveal the truth to her closest companions in order to encourage them to fight alongside her, while others see her as a determined male monk.
