Jodi Kantor was one of the two primary New York Times reporters who worked to investigate and expose Weinstein's decades of sexual misconduct. Prior to her work on the Weinstein story, Kantor had worked for the Times for 14 years. After hearing rumors of Weinstein's misconduct and reading actress Rose McGowan's tweet about an unnamed producer who had raped her, Kantor became curious. In the wake of the O'Reilly scandal and allegations against Trump, Kantor wondered if there was more to the Weinstein rumors.
