Summary
In Chapter 5, Jodi and Megan's editor, Rebecca Corbett, encouraged them to convince their subjects that coming forward was a way "mitigate past wrongs" (103). Later, Jodi pursued Irwin Reiter; not only was he in charge of Weinstein's company's accounting and finances, but he was rumored to hate Weinstein. After revealing her project, Reiter agreed to meet. Though hesitant, he confessed knowledge of Weinstein's behaviors and the company's coverups. Though Reiter had known about and disagreed with Weinstein's mistreatment of women, he feared exposing his boss's action would threaten the company. Reiter told Jodi he had even revealed the issue to his daughter in 2015, who insisted he come forward.
One of the many women who approached Reiter with complaints was Sandeep Rehal; the assistant reported having to "procure and organize Weinstein's...erectile dysfunction drug," surrounding duties which discomfited her. Rehal was paid for her silence...
