Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

In Chapter 7, Nissa's first words to Sarah are to ask if there's something wrong. Nissa says Christopher believes he's offended Sarah. Sarah assures her that isn't the problem and Nissa asks that if Sarah isn't "interested" in Christopher, that she simply say so to avoid hurting his feelings. By the time she sees Christopher, she is wavering in her pledge to tell him about herself. She doesn't have another chance but that afternoon Christopher asks if she'd like to go to lunch with him on Saturday. He asks that she think about it and leaves his phone number with her. That evening, Sarah tries to call Christopher but the phone is busy. She mulls over Nissa's words and realizes that Christopher does deserve an explanation. She decides she'll go to their house and have the conversation to get it over with...
