Summary
Adam worries about James and the fact that he has been through a lot in Chapter 36. He says that he never told the truth about their father because James' nightmares are bad enough without that knowledge. Adam leans on Juliette for advice as to what to do, but the only real solution is to rely on Kenji to get them to the safe place he has mentioned. Adam does not like the thought of leaving the home he has spent a good bit of time trying to create, but he knows he has no choice. Kenji tries to speed things along but in the process, he asks about Adam's ability to touch Juliette. Juliette refuses to answer Kenji's questions about this, so Kenji tries flirting with Juliette.
