Chapters 24-26 Summary

Lindsay helps Ulla retrieve her belongings and gives here some money. She is in trouble over a business deal that's gone bad, but he doesn't ask for details. She says Karla is in Goa, so he is traveling there. He travels to Mapusa, rents a motorcycle, and drives around looking for Karla. He finds her on the beach that night. They spend a week traveling around Goa. She wants him to stay in Goa and he wants her to return to Bombay with him.

Lindsay returns to Bombay and his work with Abdul Ghani. He learns that Madjid was killed the previous night and the name Sapna was written in blood on the walls of his house.
