Epilogue Summary

Ian brings the blue gem to the silver haired man Gwen had met at Underhill. He takes the gem carefully and they decide together that Gwen is not ready to have it yet, even though it belongs to her by rights. She needs to find out what she is and be settled within that realization before she can start using the gem.

The men also agree to keep one of Wallace's men, even though originally they weren't going to. This particular man has already befriended Gwen and she doesn't trust people easily. They decide that the man who is now called Jason Cross will stay in their employ and watch over Gwen.
