Obsidian Knife

The obsidian knife is a black knife made from black volcanic glass. It has a fluted edge and is very sharp. Leo carries his knife in his pocket when he kills Ray Cuervo, while Bluebird has his around his neck on a rawhide throng when he kills John Lee Benton.

Shadow Love's Gun

Shadow Love uses a gun to kill people rather than the obsidian knife that the other Indian killers use. The Crows are killing in a ritual manner using the knife, while Shadow Love is killing on his own, not ritually. He uses this gun on Yellow Hand, as well as on Lillian Rothenburg; however, later he uses a knife and seems to understand the power in the ritual and the knife.
