Chapter 22, 23, 24 Summary

Sam Crow is having a fit about Barbara driving Shadow Love to kill Hart in chapter 22. She says she did not know his plan, but Sam says she must have suspected since she knows Shadow. Shadow Love's picture is all over the news and Lawrence Duberville Clay is on TV saying he is coming to Minnesota with forty people to stop these killers. The Crows' doorbell rings, and it is Leo Clark alive and well.

In chapter 23, Jennifer asks Lucas if he is sleeping with Lily and he says yes. After Jennifer leaves, he goes to sleep and again dreams about being Billy Hood's hostage at gunpoint. He ignores Lily's call but does answer when Elle calls. She assures him these type of dreams are normal after a traumatic experience and he goes back to sleep.
