Chapter 20, 21 Summary

In chapter 20, Barbara Gow is driving Shadow Love to talk to someone. He has her call Larry Hart on the phone to say she has knowledge about the murder cases and ask him to meet her. Hart agrees, but it is Shadow Love that meets him. Hart is startled but knows Shadow Love even though he has not seen him in awhile and is not suspicious of Shadow Love's true purpose in meeting him. When Shadow goes back to Barbara's car, she asks about Hart and Shadow Love says Hart left. Shadow Love thinks about the two "traitors" he has murdered and thinks about the next person he feels needs to be killed—Lily, who shot his friend, Billy Hood.
