Chapter 18, 19 Summary

Chapter 18: On the way from their apartment, the Crows notice police cars on their street. They later arrive at Barbara's place, and she apologies for the house's rundown condition. Shadow Love calls and says he was lucky to spot the police and is on the way there. Sam and Barbara sleep together and then talk; Sam tells her that according to Shadow Love they are going to die.

Shadow Love paces off and on for most of the night and Barbara thinks he is crazy. The next day she cuts their hair so they will be less recognizable. Shadow Love goes to a bar to try to find out what is going on with the police. He then goes to an apartment complex and sees Hart talking to people and decides too many people know too much and they may talk to Hart...
