Chapter 12, 13 Summary

In chapter 12, Hart tells Daniel, Lily, and Lucas that the media has splashed the entire Hood situation on TV. Lucas is worried Jennifer may have seen the news; however, Daniel tells Lucas he called her right after Lily killed Hood. The bad news is not over when Daniel tells them that Yellow Hand's body was found in the water and that Lucas needs to go confirm the ID. Also, a state attorney general was killed; however, a local pulled a rifle and shot the killer who is now in the hospital.

Lucas confirms the body is Yellow Hand's while Sloan drives Lucas's car back to his house to avoid the press, and Lucas is driven home in a squad car. Jennifer calls Lucas and says the baby is with a sitter and that the Indian who killed the state attorney general, John Liss...
