Chapter 6, 7 Summary
Leo Clark is reflecting on his past in chapter 6, while waiting for his second kill. He spent most of his life drunk and on the streets until a fellow homeless man died next to him and was buried without ceremony. A year later, he is sober and a spiritualist, which is the same year he met the Crows. Leo was glad he killed Ray, despite the fact he knew him because Leo felt Ray's treatment of Indians was wrong. Leo is waiting for Judge Merrill Ball to arrive in the parking garage. He has the door to the building wired so it will not totally close the next time someone enters; this method of getting in works well. He waits on the sixth floor in the Judge's office for him. The Judge notices the door ajar but before he can react, Leo kills...
