Chapter 25, Letters Summary
Bean contacts Graff by email through the ansible. He tells Graff not to feel bady when he's ready to die and hasn't found a cure because Bean has never believed in a cure. On earth a year later, Russia joins the FPE and the Muslim league is broken into pieces. Petra has been away from her children, and when she finally goes home she can't believe how much they've changed and how much she has missed. Bean's mom and Peter are there. The children love Peter, who spends time with them everyday. At first Petra doesn't want Peter as the father figure in her children's life, but it's too late. She's been gone and he's been there.
