Importance: After reading this line on the internet in an attempt to understand his masculinity and sexuality, Darren becomes increasingly obsessed with his body, its capabilities and power over others. Throughout the narrative, this line recurs to Darren, its meaning taking on a variety of interpretations in light of the sexual abuse accusations against Mr. Tracy.
