Point of View

The novel is narrated in the third-person, always from the perspective of Lucie Churchill as she attempts to navigate New York society. The novel is divided into different stages of her young adult life. The first section takes place in Capri, Italy when she is attending Isabel’s lavish wedding and first meets George Zao.
