Jacaranda Leven
Jacaranda is the driving force of "Sex and Rage." Born in Los Angeles near the ocean, she is both an anomaly and a fascination to the more fashionable set during her late teens and twenties. As a child, Jacaranda loves surfing and spends her time at the beach. But when she starts dating powerful men, she is regularly subsumed into their upscale way of life, often forgetting about her life at the beach.
Luckily for Jacaranda, she develops a writing talent at the same time she develops a drinking problem. Jacaranda does not have a strong identity as a "writer." She does not consider herself literary, and instead spends most of her time hanging out with her friends.
