Seraphina Dombegh
Seraphina Dombegh is the narrator and main character of this book. She is a half-dragon, born to a dragon mother and human father, and she strives to keep her heritage a secret for fear of how she and her father will be treated and punished. An excellent musician, Seraphina works as the assistant to the court composer, Viridius. She also falls in love with Prince Lucian. Seraphina is secretly a half dragon who is mentally connected to seventeen other half dragons through her mental garden, and she also has access to some of her dead mother's memories.
