Section 9: Chapters 20-22 Summary

As Lucian draws his sword in Chapter 20, Seraphina activates Orma's earring as they face Imlann. When Imlann comments that she smells of saar and threatens to kill both of them, she lies about a draconian device in her tooth that will explode if he kills her. Noting that his plans will unfurl in due time, Imlann promises to meet again before flying away. In response to Lucian's reminder that it is illegal for humans to possess draconian devices, Seraphina claims she bluffed Imlann. Just then, Orma and Basind appear to answer her call for aid.
