Chapters Thirteen through Fifteen Summary
Eliot brings chicken soup to Bebe, who is sick, and questions her about the need for all the things she has, including a wet-vac and a drafting table. Eliot then flips on the television to the Sellevision show where Leigh is preparing for her most memorable show ever. She's supposed to be presenting a ruby pendant but starts by asking how many women would like to have a man taken them to dinner and say that he loves her. She says then, "If you would like to have a man promise you the world, you're going to want to write this number down," making the crew believe she's about to give their number for purchasing the necklace.
