Marina Shchelokov is fairly bursting with pride as she runs the one-kilometer section that is her part of the relay with the Olympic flame from Mount Olympus. It has already traveled for miles, and even though it rains without respite, and the soldiers who line the roadways laugh and made cynical jokes as she runs the difficult uphill section, when Marina sees her family and her friends watching her, her feet grow wings.
