The Fuhrer and The Warrior meet in Washington, and over dinner and cognac, the Fuhrer tells the Warrior his plan in great detail. It is the first time he shares the details. The Warrior tells him that had anyone else asked, the answer would have been an immediate and resounding no. However, as it is the Fuhrer who has asked, the Warrior will give the tentative approval to approach the remaining committee members. The Fuhrer is disappointed. He tells the Warrior that he has already approached the other members, and all five have voted yes. The Warrior is the only no vote. Saddened, the Warrior tells the Fuhrer that he has no alternative then but to fight his plan with all of his resources. They get into their separate...
