Regaining Trust, Lost Love

One of the main struggles that both Ari and Rafe, and Lia and Shane have to overcome in order to acknowledge their love for one another is the loss of trust. Both couples have experienced a loss of trust even though they are still technically in love with one another. Each couple’s story is different with Rafe and Ari regaining their love and trust at the end of the novel while Lia and Shane are still working on the trust issue.
