Summary

In Chapter Twenty-seven, Rafe learns that Lia and Shane have been missing for three days. He goes to tell Ari what has happened and that he is going to Italy to look for them. He is surprised when she announces that she is going with him.

In Chapter Twenty-eight, now that they are alone, Rafe takes the opportunity to try to pin Ari down about their relationship. She is upset when she accidentally admits to him that she has been with no other man since him. When he suggests to her that they get married, Ari believes that she has heard incorrectly. He indicates that is his intention for their relationship. Ari goes to the bathroom to get away from him, realizing that the flight will be a long one.
