Summary

In Chapter Nine, Lia is awakened by Shane’s body heat. She realizes her hand is on his private parts and backs away embarrassed. Shane tries to flirt with her as she continues to push him away. Needing to find fresh water and food, the two hike further into the island. They come upon a waterfall and clear body of water. After Shane scouts the area and finds that it is safe, Lia strips and dives in, wanting to get the residue from the salt water off of her skin. Tired of being pushed away, Shane follows, surfacing near her. He grabs her and kisses her.
