Chapter 11 - Nowhere to Turn Summary

Dawn wakes up in the hospital. She has been in a coma four days. The doctor tells her the baby is fine. Trisha has been coming to visit Dawn each day. That day Trisha asks Dawn what she plans to do about the baby since Michael has deserted her. Dawn tells her that she still plans to have the baby. During Trisha's next visit, Dawn tells her that she plans to finish school. Trisha also brings Dawn a letter from Jimmy. Jimmy tells her that he has gotten a promotion, and also that Daddy Longchamp and his new wife are expecting a baby.
