Chapter 10 - Bitter Fruit Summary

In Chapter 10, Dawn calls Michael and insists on seeing him. He says it is a bad time but finally agrees. When she says she is pregnant, Michael remarks that his teaching term will be over by the time she starts showing. He tells her they will go to Florida where she will have the baby. Two days before the Christmas holidays, Trisha runs into their room announcing to Dawn that Michael is gone. She says a notice was posted saying that he had been accepted for a major London production. As Trisha continues to talk, Dawn gets more and more upset.
