Chapter 4 - A Visit With Jimmy Summary
The remaining students return to Bernhardt for the fall classes. Donald Rossi and Arthur fuss and fight continually until Agnes makes them come to peace. One day Dawn meets Arthur in the hall and advises him not to take Donald to seriously. About a month later Arthur comes to Dawn's room to share his poetry. Dawn cries when she reads the poetry. Arthur tells her that he knows about the lies that her grandmother told about her. Arthur admits that he does not like his parents. They want him to be a professional musician while he knows that he is only mediocre. He tells Dawn that he plans to write a poem about her.
Meanwhile, Jimmy comes to visit Dawn. She is a little taken back by the way his uniform makes him...
