Chapters 21 - 24. Summary

In Chapter 21, Selena is on the phone telling Katy that Jake is dead. The police said he fell off of the catwalk. No one will ever know now, and no one will know why he was stalking Selena. Katy offers to come over, but Selena tells her she wants to be alone. She will tell her mother what happened when she comes home from work.

Selena returns to school a week later and feels uncomfortable during rehearsal. Everyone seems to be in a somber mood. Mr. Riordan addresses them all about Jake and tells them the show must go on. Selena just can't get into practice. She sees Jake everywhere. She wanders backstage and talks to Katy. She tells Katy she thinks that Jake was trying to tell her not to take the play so seriously. Selena hasn't seen Eddy today...
