Chapters 17 - 20. Summary

In Chapter 17, Selena confronts Danny and asks why he is following her. Danny is confused and then sneers at her. He is on a date with a girl named Susie. Selena is embarrassed and goes outside to meet Eddy. Eddy mentions that seeing Danny was a close call because Danny would tell Mr. Riordan they were on a date. He tells Selena he has had a crush on her since she he was a senior and she joined the drama club. Suddenly a Taurus comes toward them with the lights out. Eddy grabs her by the shoulders and pushes her in the car's way.

In Chapter 18, Selena hits the wall on the other side of the tunnel they are walking in. Eddy pushed her hard enough to send her out of the car's way. He hit his elbow but is fine...
