The Thirtieth Summary

Jessica's niece, Marin is born. Jessica is driving home alone from the hospital with her father. Her father and her haven't spoken much since she stopped running, but he mentions that he still remembers the night Jessica was born. Jessica is a little shocked about her father's emotion and says that she always thought that after her brother died that they didn't want to have another baby. Her father says they very much wanted her. He also says that Flashdance was playing on the radio when he was driving her mom to the hospital and that he still thinks of the night Jessica was born when he hears the song. Mr. Darling also says that he doesn't agree with Jessica's choice to go to Columbia, but that he respects her opinion and that his mother left her the money she needs...
