The Fifth and The Sixth Summary

Jessica and her family find out Gladdie left them half a million dollars. Fifty thousand is for Jessica to do as she wishes. Jessica plans to use the money for three and a half semesters at Columbia. They find out Gladdie got the money from playing the stock market.

Jessica decides to act as if the kiss between her and Marcus didn't happen. At school, Marcus says he wants to talk about the kiss. Jessica tries to change the subject, asking if he knew Gladdie was a stock genius. Marcus says he knew and Jessica asks why he didn't tell her. He says because she told him to stay out of her business. Marcus asks why Jessica is always pushing him away. He tells her to consider him out of her life and walks away...
