Jessica writes to Hope, telling her how mad she is at Marcus. She says Marcus is always butting into her life and trying to mess it up. Jessica says Marcus does it because he doesn't have anything better to do now that he's sober and not sleeping with everyone. Jessica also asks Hope how she doesn't hate him after what Marcus did with her brother, and how Marcus is still alive but Heath is dead.

Four days after the shower, Gladdie dies in her sleep. Jessica says that the lesson Gladdie is trying to get across to her is that Jessica has to live life while she is alive.
