The Twenty-eighth Summary

When Jessica comes downstairs in the morning, she tells her mom and Bethany that she's riding the bus with Bridget to New York. Mrs. Darling gasps, saying she didn't know the book signing was in the city. When Bridget comes in, she seems to divert her mother and sister's attention. they verify that Bridget knows her way around the city, so they relent in allowing her to go. On the bus ride, Jessica divides the bus riders into a few different categories—one being children and another bring perverts. When they arrive in NYC, they part ways.
