Part 3: Chapter 12 Summary

Meredith and Ross struggle with what they have learned. Across town, Eli tells Shelby what he has learned about Cecelia Pike's suicide while Ethan and Lucy bond over their uniqueness, including Ethan's XP and Lucy's ability to see ghosts. A short time later, Ross begins to plan his suicide despite everything that has happened around him even as Meredith buries her grandfather alone. Only Az shows up to the funeral. Meredith tells Az she wants to donate the Pike property to the Abenaki. Az refers Meredith to a friend, claiming that he is going away for a while.

Shelby and Eli are going out on a date. Meredith agrees to stay home with the kids. That same night, Ross is at the quarry drinking with Az. Ross is feeling sorry for himself, allowing his depression to overwhelm him. Across town, Rod...
