Part 2: Chapter 7 Summary

Gray Wolf and Lily Robinson met while Gray Wolf was working for Lily's father on their property. Lily and Gray Wolf began dating in secret, aware of the prejudice against such a relationship. When Lily learned she was pregnant, Gray Wolf promised to marry her. However, when Lily told her father of the pregnancy, he beat up Gray Wolf and refused to allow his daughter to ever see him again. Lily's father then forced her to marry one of her many suitors and lie to him about the child. During this time, Gray Wolf was arrested and imprisoned for the murder of his supervisor at the stone quarry. Lily would die after forty hours of childbirth less than eight months later.

Cecelia begins to wonder about her own genealogy and she goes into Spencer's office to look at the genealogy charts...
