Chapters 42-48 Summary

In Chapter 42, Jesse meets the Plum twins outside their Boston hotel and says that he knows they shot the video of their sister, and also that they filmed it on Darnell's boat. The twins tell him that Florence asked them to do it, and that she wanted it shot there to make Darnell jealous after he dumped her for Blondie Martin; when tape was finished, Florence said she sent a copy to Darnell. They tell Jesse that Darnell had flown Florence up to Boston in a private plane a few weeks after getting the tape, in the beginning of June. The twins remember that the pilot's name was Larry, but no last name. They then tell Jesse that they didn't tell him this before because they were afraid he would say something to their parents, who still controlled their trust money...
