Citra Terranova

Citra is a 16-year-old girl who becomes one of Scythe Faraday’s apprentices. She has a younger brother Ben and a good relationship with her parents. She is an intelligent student and studies a lot. She decides to become Faraday’s apprentice, in part, to ensure her family gets immunity from gleaning for a year.

Citra is very reluctant to the thought of becoming a scythe at first. As she continues to train under Faraday, she begins to realize that she would be a good and just scythe. She develops romantic feelings for Rowan, even though Faraday has forbidden them from having a relationship. She feels even more conflicted when the Scythedom decides that whoever of Faraday’s apprentices wins the trial to become a Scythe must glean the other.
