Chapter 22 Summary
The papers for the Bookends are about Robert Norris and Robert Taft. She knows leaving the papers with them is dangerous, because the timing of everything she wants to do has to be perfect.
Bram, with his mother's approval, is giving Kaitlin a piece of jewelry fashioned from a lock from one of Maggie's diaries. Kaitlin feels tremendously guilty. Bram also reveals that the land that his family wants is nearly theirs.
Kaitlin goes by to see Mrs. Flannery to talk about getting scholarship applications to look over.
