Chapters 7-10 Summary
Part of Mrs. Donnelly's job as Cap's caseworker is to meet with Mr. Kasagi. Mr. Kasagi has both good and bad news. The good news is that Cap is, in terms of education, is as bright as anyone at the school. Mr. Kasagi tells her the problem is that he has never met anyone as clueless about life. In that respect he finds it difficult to understand why the children elected him as school president.
Cap's appointment as school president makes no sense to Mrs. Donnelly either until she arrives home. Sophie tells her they have elected Cap because they always elect the school geek.
