Following One’s Dreams

School Trip demonstrates how setting goals and taking steps to reach those goals are necessary to reach one's dreams. Jordan fights to follow his own dream in life and challenges his friends to set life goals for themselves.

Jordan is overjoyed when he learns that he has been accepted to a private art school. However, he must decide if that course is what is best for him. Meanwhile, while Jordan is exploring Paris with his friends, he comes to the realization that many Blacks do not realize they are allowed to set goals for their lives because they are so rarely portrayed doing things like traveling or working successful jobs in books and movies.
