Summary
In Chapter 5, Samira asks Maury about the size of the buildings and the way they are built. Maury explains the town leaders want to keep the buildings short to keep from blocking the sights. They also want their buildings to have a uniform look.
The group learns when they try to ride the bus that Roche’s school-issued credit card is not working. They decide to walk to do their sightseeing and Roche pulls out a paper map. The students remind him they can access maps on their phones.
