Summary

In Chapter 1, Jordan Banks debates whether he wants to go to a private art school if he is accepted or if he wants to stay at Riverdale Academy Day School. Jordan is overjoyed when he receives his letter of acceptance from the art school.

The next day, Jordan is telling his friends about his letter when the assignments for the school trips are posted. Jordan and his best friend, Drew, learn they are going to Paris with Ramon, Maury, Alexandra, Ashley, and Samira. They are disappointed when they learn Andy, the class bully, is also going to Paris.

Meanwhile, troublemakers Eric, Deandre, and Winston are in the office. When they are left alone for a moment, they access the school trips on the computer system and reassign all the teachers.
