Chapter 13

Miles enters the house which is full of people and loud music. Preston sees him and walks up to him. When Miles says that there are too many people, Preston says that he told all of his friends to invite their friends, so he’d have the party of the year while his parents were away. Miles begins to feel sick to his stomach. He asks Preston for food. Preston tells him to take a shot of alcohol first. When he does, it seems to set his stomach on fire. Preston says to help himself to the food in the kitchen. Miles begins to feel dizzy. He falls to the floor of the kitchen and starts to wretch. He feels a female hand on his forehead. It is Eliza.
