Summary

In Chapter 7, “Knut Speaks (2)” (137), Knut reflected on his new relationship with Hiruko and recalled the conversation he had with his mother just before he was supposed to fly to Oslo. She told him she was not feeling well, so he begrudgingly brought her some food. She told him that she was worried because the student she was sponsoring had told her he was traveling through Europe and then stopped contacting her. When Knut returned home, his mother called and said she bought a ticket to Oslo on the same flight Knut was taking. Knut was furious and he called the airport and canceled his ticket, then bought another one for Akash to go in his place. He called his mother back and told her he had taken a different flight and he was already in Oslo. He turned on the TV and watched...
